Raccoon (Procyon lotor)
Description: Dark fur with lots of white mixed in. Bushy tail banded with white. Face has a dark mask over the eyes, surrounded by white and with white-tipped ears. The forefeet have five long fingers which are very dexterous and almost human-like.
Habitat: Natural habitat is wetlands and forest, but are now also found throughout coastal cities.
Feeding: Omnivorous opportunists, feeding on various plant and animal species including corn, fruits, nuts, crayfish, small birds, eggs, fish, and garbage.
General: Can reach high densities in both wetlands and cities.
